Born in Urumqi, Xinjiang, step.jad has loved music since he was a
kid, and it was when he was 9 years old that he really started to
fall in love with music. His sister gave him a copy of Blu
Cantrell's album "Bittersweet" and he fell in love with R&B, and
then slowly began to get into Jazz, Soul, Hip-Hop and other styles
of music. After graduating from college, he discovered his talent
for singing and wanted to try to make the music he wanted to make.
After he made his own music, the attitude of people around him
changed, and his family, who didn't support his music, started to
support him!
In 2017, he released his first solo rap single "Why Ma Life Is So
Hard", thus making his official debut.On February 26, 2018, he
released his solo single "everything gonna be alright".In 2020, he
sang the single "Playboy" with Ma Si-wei.In the same year, he took
part in the rap music program "Rap" produced by Beili Beili. In
2021, he participated in Zhejiang TV's inspirational and
professional music review program "The Voice of China 2021" and
became the first "eight-turn" contestant of the program, and
eventually won the top 6 of Wang Feng's team and the top 22 of the
country; in the same year, he released his debut album of the same
name, "The Voice of China 2021", along with CHILL In the same year,
she released her debut EP "CHILL GANG" with CHILL GANG. 2022, she
released the music album "Time and Space Companion 2000" with
TSUNANO.
step.jad is currently a member of the new HIPPOP label RollDice
Records and a member of Inblood. With his natural soulful voice, he
is one of the few R&B artists in China who can handle Soul, Reggae,
and RAP!
In 2020 step.jad is invited to participate in the creation of 2020 ESM main theme song [ Be The Winner ]
In 2021 step.jad competed in the Chinese TV music competition program *Sing! China* in the 2021 season. July 30, 2021, to October 15, 2021 was when the exhibition was held. His performance of the original piece "都不懂" captivated the audience with a flawless fusion of passionate singing and acting, finally earning him the praise of all eight coaches. Eventually won the top 6 of the Wangfeng Battle Group and the top 22 in the country
In 2023 step.jad participated in the china famous variety show “THE RAP OF CHINA”. He lost to JelloRio in the first round of 1v1 after that both of them teamed up and battled against McJin & ESO in the 2v2 session and lost.
